Orun Field & Family Farm is a community demonstration farm providing transformational experiences in Upper Marlboro, MD, just 40 minutes outside of Washington DC. This 8 acre farm rests on land native to the Nacotchtank and Piscataway tribes. We are a livable wage farm focused on veteran & community support and workforce development. The farm partners with and hosts training programs, educational workshops, and community celebrations for a growing community of family & friends.

What We Offer

Working Farm

We are a livable wage educational farm guided by the principles of Afro-ecology focused on community & veteran support. The farm implements sustainable agricultural methods appropriate for the Chesapeake Watershed.

Community Outreach

Combining strong values with nourishing care, we support vulnerable communities in sowing & reaping seeds of wellness. Through inquiring & responding to the health & wellness needs of the community, we invests in co-creating partnerships that serve self identified community needs.

Event Venue
